"I have been working with Karen for almost 6 years and she has gotten me to running paces I never thought I was capable of. Prior to working with Karen I had unsuccessfully worked with another coach to try to run a sub 4 marathon for a few years and I was actually getting slower. Karen’s plans and encouragement got me to run a 20 minute (3:50) PR on my first marathon with her as well as PR my first half with her. Since then I have been working with her to slowly work towards a BQ which is starting to feel like it is within a realistic reach at my current paces. Karen prescribes plans that make goal race pace feel obtainable, with run/challenging speed work outs and a fair number of long run workouts. She pushes you when you need it, is patient when obstacles come up, and when bad race days happen (which they will sometimes!) she is encouraging. I have a crazy work schedule and she has been amazing with working around that as well. Can’t recommend her enough! “
