Kickasso Highlights

In the Mohawk Hudson 1/2 Marathon:

Jon Louden ran 1:21:31, a PB!

Stephanie Boyd ran 1:40:12, a PB & 1st in her AG!

In the full marathon:

Janne Rand Gilligan ran 3:32:46 to finish 2nd in her AG and take time off her last marathon!

In Chicago!  

Steph Vachon ran a 4:30ish PB to run 3:35:28!

what a weekend!  6 Kickasso athletes ran the Run 4 the River half today & 1 ran the Sackets Harbor 1/2!

Yesterday:

Abigail Chaloux ran a 3 min PR running 1:35 🔥& 3rd AG

Lori Kingsley ran 1:33 finishing 1st in the 50-59 AG

Kristie Pageau snuck right in front of Lori to finish 2nd in her AG as she finished up her last big week of marathon training, taper time!

Erin Wrightson knocked off 6 minutes from her spring half to run 1:39 post babies!

Janne Rand Gilligan ran steadily comfortable at MP

Alyssa Hall Risko ran a solid LR somewhere between HMP & MP as she is early in her CIM build 

Sackets Harbor 1/2:

Jenny Byrns Andrews ran a 4 min PR running 1:48 to finish 3rd in her AG

CONGRATS to all the kickasso runners!!  You all ran amazing!

Jessica Bashaw- 1:28, 2nd AG

Erin Rightmyer- 1:32, 3 minute PR, 3rd AG

Race options were limited in 2020 so when a hilly half marathon presented itself as the only option, Jon went for it!  Jon ran a new PR of 1:24:04 (a 45 sec PR).  Soon after, he ran a virtual Turkey Trot 10k in 37:15, running another 44 sec PR!

Just like Jon, Alyssa saw the hilly half as her one opportunity to race this year.  Despite being 55 (sorry Alyssa!), she ran a new LIFETIME PR, breaking the sub 1:40 barrier for the first time in her life!  She continues to train hard, recover harder and be smart as she proves she’s like a fine wine, better with age!
